Hi ποΈ
Welcome to my site! I live in Burnley, UK, with my wife Victoria, our canine children, and our hens.
On this site I write notes and longer articles about learning to code, exploring, following Burnley FC around the country, and training and racing. I snap images along the way, that appear in my dedicated snaps section. I also record all of my training, run, ride, swim, climb, walk and weigh-in data.

Waiting for Pulp at Live in Wythenshawe Park tonight.
Latest Note
On route to Carrot Road where Burnley play Norwich City this afternoon.
A long journey and mixed start to the season means that there is plenty of room on the coach today - much needed as I have some work to do en route.

Journalism isnβt dying: itβs rebuilding in the ashes of the digital wildfire that has swept through the business model of the old, established media businesses. Emerging media will take a while to find its feet.

I enjoyed reading this article on the future of journalism from @adders @masto.onemanandhisblog.com, which I missed first time around.

A quick clip of Podenco Ibicenco bayLee swimming laps of the hydrotherapy pool at Canine Health & Hydro in Rimington

bayLee has been visiting Canine Health and Hydro at Rimington for around 18 months now, ever since complications from a then undiagnosed under-active thyroid caused weight gain, muscle wastage, and back pain.
He is doing really well now, with his weight where it should be, and his pain largely prevented by regular K9 laser and swim sessions here, and ongoing thyroxin medication.
As you can see, his monthly swim sessions are one of the best bits of my month!
