Hi all, I'm an on-again, off-again practitioner, mostly because I flit from one thing to another so often that I find it tough to hold to rituals rooted in proper timing.

Still, I keep coming back and I'd like to chat with more pagans!

Name you would like to go by:
-Please call me 'Dray'; in the vein of 'strong horse-drawn wagon' rather than 'like the rapper'.

Present path or tradition:
- Mainlining Insight-based traditions of Buddhism (focusing primarily on nurturing the four wise abodes of universal love, joy for others' success, compassion, and equanimity), with support from some divination work, work with unseen companions, and journaling shadow work. If I have any particular fondness for deities, I'd say that Kwan Yin is currently my favourite. She's mainly a Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion, and (at least in the queer sitting group I attend) is widely considered in the LGBTQ+ community as a transfemme icon.
- My path leans almost unilaterally towards healing, learning about how to become embodied, and how to bring succour for a busy mind and aching heart-space. I like to cultivate a joyful space!

Interests:
- With regards to spirituality, I value community and an almost fandom-like space of sharing ideas. I quite love the in-person meditation sits I've found in town and would adore more in-person pagan exchanges, but I just haven't found my people, locally, yet. I'm looking forward to learning more about how these two modes of belief can support one another.

Age (not mandatory):
- Currently in my early 40's!

Brief Bio:
- I'm a dabbler without a lineage or tradition, and in my day-to-day life I'm in the animation and VFX industry doing production work, and I've a degree in character design and illustration. I like to incorporate art and craft into my practice, since working with my hands fuels all the things I value in the arcane. I also like working with "coincidence", which is a conglomerate of those useful spirits that like to get involved and like to be given gratitude. My matrilineal line dabbled in pagan things in ways that I don't think they really wanted to cop to, so I feel like I've got a hodgepodge of 'witchy' things that have defined how I approach my own faith.

I decided to wait until I cover all guest acting nominations instead of using it in It's Saturday, so here are SNL's eleven Emmy nominations.

Name: Sara

Age: 30

I mostly post about: my fandoms and fanworks, as well as some personal stuff from time to time.

My hobbies are: watching TV shows, writing fanfiction, making icons and fanart (very occasionally), listening to podcasts/audiodrama.

My fandoms are: mostly sci-fi shows, my main ones at the moment being Blake's 7 and Classic Doctor Who. Others include Farscape, Star Trek, Babylon 5, due South, Stargate SG-1, and British soap operas (when I feel like it).

I'm looking to meet people who: are also involved in fandom, even if we don't have a big fandom overlap, and especially if they also like creating fanworks.

My posting schedule tends to be: pretty sporadic, and I've been known to forget about using Dreamwidth for a while but I've been pretty active these past few months.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: homophobia, racism, transphobia, conservative politics...

Before adding me, you should know: my personal posts can be a bit pessimistic at times, and with fandoms I get very obsessive. I also write smut so you might see some of that, but it's not all I write if that's a concern for you. I engage with dark topics in fiction (reading and writing) so if that upsets you, we won't get along. I'm not religious myself despite my Catholic upbringing, but I respect other people's beliefs as long as they aren't forced on me.

Name: Hazel

Age:

I just turned 40, eek.

I mostly post about:

My life. I live in a tiny village in the hills of rural Scotland, so a lot of weather chat, haha.
I post about what I've been up to during my week, with family or pets or what's growing well in the garden, what band I'm off to see, what I've been crocheting, etc. I also use it as a place to moan a bit, to offload it all somewhere to help process!

My hobbies are:

crochet, cooking, baking, gardening, listening to music, going to as many gigs as I can afford, embroidery, painting, hanging out in my wee potting shed in the rain :)

I'm looking to meet people who:

... are posting about their every day lives. I find the boring bits just as interesting as the epic adventures and would like to get to know some fellow humans :) If we have some stuff in common, awesome, if not, that's cool too!

My posting schedule tends to be: daily/weekly/monthly/sporadic/etc

Spotty at best, but I've decided to make more effort.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are:

I am a blue haired, tofu munching leftie snowflake and proud of it, so if that's your jam, let's be friends! I have zero tolerance for fascists and genocide apologisers, homophobia, transphobia, the usual suspects... you wont like me and I don't like you.

Before adding me, you should know: My life is fairly boring and I like it that way. I have anxiety and live in a slow paced, quiet way. If you're looking for someone to thrill with you adventures in their entries, that is not me, haha.

I also have pet chickens! :)

I replaced the following video in 'PBS NewsHour's Tipping Points examines scientists fighting climate change and its effects. I might use it in the future.

Name: C.K. (Chameleon, Lyko, or Ylva if you would like)

Age: 36, nearly 37, growing old mandatory, growing up optional

I mostly post about: Culture Club/Boy George & Jon Moss (my hyperfixation of 22 years and counting), a-ha, Linkin Park, my OCs who are realer to me than most people, witchcraft/spirit work/folk healing/moon rituals/grief magic, retro gaming, emotional overshares that read like journal entries from a possessed poet, fanfiction that makes people unwell at 2am, chaos, and the occasional Reddit food rabbit hole

My hobbies are: Writing fic that's 70% emotional breakdown, 20% worldbuilding, and 10% people getting railed in a meaningful way, hexing cults with sigils and sass, collecting music like a religion, drawing OCs, being a haunted glitter goblin with eyeliner and vengeance, building 48-year fanfiction universes with fully documented timelines and named children, going to work like a normal person and coming home a completely different entity. I'm currently contemplating doing a vlog on youtube.

My fandoms are: Culture Club (I'm writing a massive AU called Colour By Numbers spanning 1978-2026), a-ha, Linkin Park (Bennoda forever)

I'm looking for people who: are too weird for Reddit, too raw for Instagram, too smart for Twitter/X, overshare about their OCs like a religion, cry over character development, understand that Jon Moss deserved better, write long posts, and don't find it weird that I've named all the children in my fictional universe including the surprise baby

My posting schedule: Erratic. Sometimes a lot. Sometimes I vanish for months and return with an entire AU timeline and a new OC

Dealbreakers: Racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, antisemitism, being a dick, Scientology apologists, anyone who thinks Mike Shinoda is evil because of an Instagram reel, "isn't wrestling fake?", "you still like Linkin Park?", and anti-Zionists/anti-Israel people.

Before adding me: I'm a Norse Pagan. Autistic and ADHD. I write mpreg unapologetically. I am a pro-Israel Zionist and tired of explaining what that actually means. Pro-AI. I smoke weed. I am extremely defensive of Jon Moss and will write essays about it. My AO3 is CampCornette69 and yes that's a wrestling reference. If you want an even more in-depth about me, click this link for my about post.
