For years we shut down our own power plants and bought Chinese solar panels. At the same time we shipped our coal to China so they could build their plants at a record pace. We declared war on our own infrastructure and shot ourselves in the foot.

Springfield's City Utilities mothballed a coal plant, then had to tear it down. Now demand is climbing from manufacturing, from growth, and from AI. And they wish they still had it. You cannot un-demolish a power plant.

We're holding a hearing on the left's push to ban natural gas. One rogue city council votes, and an entire utility service area pays for it. Natural gas is among the cleanest and cheapest power we generate, and we have an abundance of it.

The cameras on the poles are just the beginning. Drones are coming, and some are already here. Patrol robots are next. If we don't get a handle on this now, we're going to wake up living in a police state.

Here is the bare minimum a plate camera should have to meet. Take the photo. Confirm who you are. Delete it. That's how TSA handles it at the airport. Nothing stored. No pattern built. No file on you. Right now these cameras do the exact opposite.
