    Today, we announced a new process for the review of deposit insurance applications. The new 2-phase process is intended to encourage new bank formation, accelerate the speed of reviews, and improve the efficiency of the application process. fdic.gov/news/press-rel…

    Kentland Federal Savings and Loan Association of Kentland, Ind. was closed today by the @USOCC, which appointed FDIC as receiver. Kentland Bank of Kentland, Ind. purchased substantially all assets and assumed all deposits of the failed institution. fdic.gov/news/press-rel…
