A pet theory I have is Ivy undergrad transfers have very high ROI because they tend to excel despite having missed the connection opportunities that come in freshman year. But it’s also true that most seem to blossom after college.

It’s always been interesting to me that both Trump and Obama transferred to Ivy’s after two years of college. And they were both extremely lowkey and unknown around campus. Goes against every intuition one may have of the two.
