    A study over 15 years of seabirds called Sable shearwaters found that birds that consumed 1 gram of plastic or more as fledglings were 11% less likely to return to their home island to breed. Those that ate over 5 grams almost all disappeared. In PNAS: ow.ly/uPq650ZCLZw
