    NIMBYism can block the development of new houses, power plants, and train stations, unless we find ways to tackle it. Our Director of Housing Policy @o_mcpartlin was on Newstalk last week to talk about getting local communities to support new development.

    Ireland pays more for wind energy than other EU countries. Why? Part of the answer is power lines and pylons. We need a lot more of them to support our wind-heavy energy system. But big, imposing pylons aren’t very popular with locals.
