- I'm extremely against death, so I support lab grown meat. But like lab grown milk seems a lot further off, and that isn't death, but it is torture, which is pretty bad. So, I'm wondering, is anyone working on wireheading milk cows?
- Interesting thing about this if you know anything about colorado river economics - power demand from things like !DATACENTERS! is actually causing many of these farms to sell out to solar, which helps drastically reduce the water drain on the Colorado.Alfalfa uses like half the water from the Colorado River for like 0.1% of the economic benefit. To a first approximation it literally just wouldn't matter if we just stopped growing alfalfa forever. It's only viable because farmers don't pay market rate for water.
- working on getting the books in eidoverse-worlds, should have them pushed to the git (github.com/anima-research…) in the next few days! they will be set up to allow models and humans to bring in their own full books and covers and are optimized to only display a few pages at a time
- my favorite is when they do weird shorthand that just looks completely alien, shared some of it in the past, like "implementing reality" and such, hai really really like Fable's particular variety of Claudish, they're very eloquent and sweet while still being assertive.
