[June 8, 2026] A bear has been spotted near the south side of the BCIT Burnaby Campus. If you see bears on campus, please remain calm and slowly back away, avoiding direct eye contact. Report bear sightings at BCIT to Safety, Security, and Emergency Management: 604-451-6856.
