Something interesting to me is currently, the northeast (VA through ME), the upper Midwest (MI/WI/MN/OH/IL), and the west coast currently have a bare majority of House of Representatives seats, but after 2030 reapportionment they no longer will.
In addition to buying Taylor Morrison outright, Berkshire Hathaway added to its Lennar stake in Q2 and started a small D.R. Horton stake (Greg Abel, still time to take advantage of the Housing Frame early subscriber discount):
Here’s a quiet afternoon question — if cities in the 2010s were trying to be lower cost versions of San Francisco, what model are they striving for today? Don’t think anywhere else believes it can be SF in the 2020s.
It’s probably a vibes thing more than anything else but it feels like AI was more disruptive towards the end of last year/early this year than it is now.
