    I think I disagree on the "get over themselves" aspect. My sense is that one primary philosophical achievement is epistemic scrutiny—evaluate claims with care and rigour. This is the good that peer review, and editorial evaluation; empirical falsificaiton and logical precision

    this will be more & more common. ppl simply need to get over themselves on ai generated stuff, particularly writing. & btw it’s not like you’ll consume ai stuff directly. an ai will likely produce everything you read anyway, either through a human like this or by synthesizing

    One question I have about the autonomy framing. The etymology of the word—"self" + "law" seems beneficial vis a vis the homogenizing dynamics we are seeing. See for example @DarioAmodei's argument this weekend that this is a centralizing technology. But I also read our time as
