    It looks like math is also changing very rapidly under the influence of LLMs right now. Similar to how Claude Code transformed software development about six months ago.

    OK, more on ChatGPT and mathematics research. I am now working on a paper in algebraic topology with a Japanese collaborator. Our specific area used to be popular in the 1990s but most of those active in it have either died or turned to other matters.
