I tend to agree. Humans, when empowered, can steer the development towards solving some of our hardest problems affecting humans: poverty, diseases, etc etc. Leaving the development in the hands of AI has no guarantee to be steered in a path where human lives are what matters.

Are telling me that typing the code was the bottleneck? And that we weren't able to build the abstractions to make this not be the case … … and so we had to take a shortcut using non-deterministic blobs of numbers trained on the whole of internet to work around this fact? 🤔

Had Claude convert my experimental #Rust code to #Mojo to compare syntax for some string parsing stuff. Quite split-minded about what I think is the future for bioinformatics scripting/tools here 🤔 Mojo provides an almost pseudo-code feel, while admittedly Rust is more compact.
