Energy is becoming abundant. Power remains scarce.
That distinction explains much of what now feels broken in Europe’s energy system.
New from @frahlg on why usable power at the right place and time matters more than annual energy totals.
Grid Maxxing means getting more useful work from the infrastructure we already have, with proper engineering margins and local control, while we keep building more grid.
Right power. Right place. Right time. Long enough.
@frahlg:
Most customers do not want an optimiser or a battery cabinet.
They want to connect more equipment, cut grid costs or start a project years earlier.
What customers need is usable power. The hardware and software produce it.
From @frahlg:
Europe needs more grid, more storage, more compute and more industry.
Software cannot change a cable’s thermal limit. Waiting a decade for every grid upgrade is not a plan either.
Build more copper. Use today’s copper better.
