- I finished this yesterday, and enjoyed learning about how silk design was the catalyst for fashionable change during the Tang Dynasty. I also always check the notes and bibliography after reading books like this and learned a few interesting things:
- The entire east side of the 1000 block in @WestwoodVillage will soon be empty. Do we dare to hope for a big housing development?
- Please @CocaCola redesign your Cherry Diet Coke labels so they don’t look like regular Diet Coke when sold out of refrigerator cases.
- If we're going to privatize the sidewalks, we should at least expect the people occupying to provide public benefits like tacos.On one hand, it's bizarre that Karen Bass likens taco vendors to homeless encampments. On the other hand, I guess that means they're safe and will continue operating everywhere and maybe even increase while she is in office.
