Today marks the last day of proton-proton collisions for Run 2 of the LHC! In total, ATLAS has recorded 149 fb-1 of data at 13 TeV – a huge dataset for physicists to study the Standard Model and probe for hidden signatures.
New milestone! The first module of the New Small Wheel detectors was installed today at @CERN. These new wheels will replace of the innermost sections of the muon-detection system in the end-caps of ATLAS.
