Chat moves an idea quickly, but it is not where I trust it to live. Git-tracked Markdown is the durable layer; Jupyter is where an idea becomes executable; Obsidian is an optional way to browse the same files. The important part is not choosing one surface — it is keeping the handoffs visible.
After a few merged pull requests, local clones fill up with feature branches that no longer exist on origin. Git still has the local refs; the remote-tracking branch is what disappeared.

Nx 23.1 shipped on July 15 with TypeScript 6 support — five days after I wrote about TypeScript 7. That timing is the story. The native compiler is the headline; the monorepo still has to sit on TypeScript 6 until the rest of the toolchain catches up.
Nx 23 is out, and buried in the performance section is the line that made me nod hardest: the daemon’s memory footprint on their own repo dropped from around 1.5GB to roughly 200MB — about a 7× reduction.
