    You don't Mess with DGD!

by PsychoSinger on 7/29/25Bayou Music Center - Houston

The whole night was great. All of the openers (Dwellings, Belmont and the Home Team) were worth getting to the venue on time to see. The GA section was packed by the end of the night. Sitting in the balcony does have it's advantages. During the Home Team's set they had a technical difficulty that caused a little bit of delay in their finish. They had to finish sans any effects and I liked it. It was stripped down, but pulled off well. The lead singer also mentioned that they normally don't play arenas the size of ours so he was so thrilled with the show of attendance. Even though they had the mishap, Dance Gavin Dance allowed them to finish their set. That's pretty cool, I think. I've been a fan of DGD for years. I'll tell you this.. the Tilian era is gone. A lot of great music, but really only Tilian can do it true justice. Best leave it. This is now John Mess' time to shine. I think Andrew is still finding his way with the back catalogue, but the new single with him just flows so well. They were able to focus on their older discography and I couldn't be happier to hear that. Great crowd, great bands and such a great night!

    Great show, awful venue

by Danny on 6/30/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - Wheatland

The crowd and the sound was great. The venue allowing drinks on the GA floor with a surface that turns into ice the second any liquid gets spilled is awful. They either need to not allow drinks out there or put in a surface that isn't insanely slippery.

The best dgd show I’ve been to yet, Andrew killed it on the Jonny vocals, and was much better with the crowd than tilian was at the last show I was at.

    The nicest, chillest band

by Dave on 6/28/25Revolution Concert House & Event Center - Garden City

I got the ultra meet and greet experience and it was absolutely wonderful. All of them were very kind and easy to talk to. It's clear they care a lot about their art and their fans. The show itself was amazing, both from dgd and their openers. And Andrew seemed to enjoy my energy and made the night magical for me. Thank you dgd!
