About

Son Of Spergy, Daniel Caesar's follow-up to his 2023 LP NEVER ENOUGH is about reconciliation; specifically, with his father. It's both deeply contemplative and powerful in this examination, while still honoring the most exciting aspect of Caesar's artistry: the album is compositionally and melodically breathtaking. His most profound and vulnerable project to date, Son Of Spergy features Daniel Caesar coming to terms with all the ways he's his father's son; for better and for worse. As such, the LP is a reflection on how Daniel wants to live his life.

Son Of Spergy is also Caesar's most successful album to date - it debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200, marks his first #1 on any Billboard chat (it topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Top R&B Albums, and Vinyl Albums charts upon release), and album cut "Who Knows" is entering rarefied air as it works its way to being a standout in his catalog with over 300 million global streams and counting.

Truly a beautiful experience and performance, from his perfect voice and tone to the instrumental part of the songs. Daniel Caesar is a must see when you get the chance, get the tickets. Went to the Seattle show in 2023 and will never forget the experience from that show.

    Daniel Caesar concert

by Rayea on 10/21/23Madison Square Garden - New York

The concert was incredible, easy getting in, wouldn’t trade it for the world. However, the merch stand stole $250 from me. The T-shirt was $45, when I checked my account they charged me $250. Be careful when checking out and check your accounts asap after purchasing from MSG!!!

    Great concert!!!!!

by Cburner on 10/21/23Madison Square Garden - New York

I don’t think I made it in time to see Montell Fish but the other opening act (Omar Apollo) was someone I never heard of but is a fan of now! Daniel Caesar played his fan favorites, he even brought out H.E.R to do their duet. His set didn’t run too long and he even did a little encore. I definitely recommend this concert to mega and casual fans alike.
