I wonder if a recent clampdown on anonymous (no account) browsing and numerous recent reports of "confirm you're a human" to those using Linux, Firefox and other privacy preserving tech which requires mandatory doxing ID verification is related to this clampdown on privacy by X?

Might be related to X requiring everyone to be human and ID verified to view X which has spurred this cease and desist. And what is worse, many companies do their customer service contacts and service updates exclusively via X so if anonymous people are locked out of viewing, they're effectively stuffed in the event of an incident.
