    Congrats to all who added some some bonus, I never saw the £3 one & today I was unlucky with the £1 political one too, just about managed a rollover with the 10p. How has today been? Hope most of you got the £1 political one, at least it’s something everyone can get the chance to do.👍

    It’s been another chilly day here- though looking at Jaffa & Poppy’s comments maybe it’s just me! thanks for the advice, I don’t have any other nasty symptoms though so hopefully will soon see some improvement 🤞

    Verona sounds lovely Jaffa, well apart from the thunderstorms, hope you’ve enjoyed the Opera & enjoy the rest of your holiday.

    We had some rain this afternoon & it’s been mostly cloudy & a bit dismal so hope it might have been rather nicer where you are, that forecast of a possible Indian Summer seems to have disappeared now, so looks like chilly is here to stay, no Acers changing colour yet tho.

  • Message, mostly for F.P. but for anyone else that it helps. If you have to go to hospital and they give you a prescription, for some medication you can ask for a usual pharmacy prescription, not just one where you have to return to the hospital. I found this out after pleading with a consultant. I would have to take a day off work, walk, train, bus, collect, bus, train, walk. I would always recommend asking and pushing for an alternative, as sometimes it works x

    p.s not all meds can be dispensed this way.

    • We did ask Susiewoo2 but she said because it was 1 of the restricted ones it had to go via the hospital pharmacy. TBPH I think they just can’t be bothered, it’s easier for them because it’s already on their system.

      I thought about ringing our local pharmacy & asking him, it makes no difference now though but if he tells me it WAS available to him then I will complain.

      edit- well I might if I can be bothered finding the appropriate department!😊

  • Thought it was about time I checked in. I'm still checking daily but, since I no longer get any surveys, the odd political one mind you, I'm almost never here. I haven't read any comments on this page for months, so no idea how everyone is but hope everyone is as well as can be.

    • Take care Clyde, a few of us have medical problems and Beth keeps us updated on the dogs. Some of us have medical problems, which we share in case we can get better understanding. Some of us give gardening updates.

      You don't have to gain lots to give a bit of useful advice.

    • Clyde, Not getting any surveys doesn't mean you have to stop reading the comments/jokes etc. But that is your decision, i don't comment that often but always read thru the pages. As long as your happy and healthy, that's all that matters...

    Sorry for the lateness, I couldn’t sleep again- leg was horrendously painful & felt really ill this morning, dizzy & nauseous, maybe the new tablets, not sure as I’m feeling ok now. I’ve been shivering all day, even had a hot water bottle & still cold!

    Mr FP has just told me ‘chills’ is/are 1 of the side effects! Not sure if he’s joking 🙃

    Hope you’ve all had a good day & found & completed lots of great surveys👍 It hasn’t been a bad day here, hubby had to put the aircon on to cool down in the car but then he had just walked the entire length of a huge hospital-up several flights of stairs & crossed a large area to get back to the car. All uphill from the aforementioned Pharmacy. There was even some ☀️ though it didn’t hang around.

    • ThankYou all, there’s no change as yet but I’m keeping my fingers crossed, not sleeping much as leg feels like a dead weight & is really painful.

      ps Mr FP says, how will he know the difference? He says I’m always breathless & a bit muddled😂

    • FP, as Jaffa says, shivers can be a sign of infection so please seek medical help if you don't feel any better.

    • Hello all.

      We did get our flight out on time thankfully but what with that and Bristol aunt collapsing and going to hospital we did wonder!

      Today we spent a lovely morning sightseeing but by 2.30 there were thunderstorms.It is supposed to clear up tonight for the opera but we shall see.

      Flower shivers etc are also signs of infection so please keep an eye on this and tell Mr F to call 999 if you feel breathless a bit muddled and start being sick or get a rash .

      Not trying to worry you just mentioning some warning signs.

      I do hope the meds start working soon though.

    • It was after 6a.m. Said they were referring me to the out of hours Dr’s service, who would ring me. They didn’t, refer me that is- I found an email later that said by the time anyone was available to ring me from that service my own surgery would have re-opened.
