Scoring: a full circle is a strong native capability, a half circle is supported with limitations or an external dependency, and a struck-through circle means the capability is missing. All 75 rows use the same scale for every product. Category and best-fit percentages are unweighted averages of the capabilities currently included, so switching a row off removes it from the maths. Compiled from publicly available vendor documentation and last verified 2026-08-12; capabilities change and may vary by plan, edition or add-on, so confirm specifics with each vendor.

FAQ

Every capability is rated on the same three-point scale. A full circle means a strong native capability, a half circle means it is supported but with limitations, a narrower scope, or an external dependency, and a struck-through circle means the exact capability is missing. Category and best-fit percentages are simple averages of those ratings, so the same rules apply to every product, including PractiTest.

Each row reflects publicly available vendor documentation, verified as of 2026-08-18. It is meant as a starting point for evaluation, not a guarantee — capabilities change and may vary by plan, edition, or add-on, so confirm specifics directly with each vendor.

Yes, and nothing ever gets hidden. Pick requirement categories — or describe your priorities in the box at the top — and those categories move to the top of the table, open automatically, and carry the most weight in the best-fit ranking. Everything else stays below, dimmed but readable. “Highlight differences” works the same way: rows where the products differ rise to the top of each category, and the identical ones fade back.

Set how important each category is to your team (Low/Med/High), and each selected product is ranked by weighted coverage across the capabilities on the screen. You can also just describe your priorities in the box at the top, and the weights and profile filters are set for you.

Yes. Use the product toggles to show or hide TestRail, Tricentis qTest, and OpenText AQM as columns — go one-on-one or view all four side by side.

Because an honest comparison is more useful than a flattering one. PractiTest scores lower on on-premises deployment and test case version control, for example, and those rows are in the table with everything else. If a capability we score low on is critical to you, we would rather you know before you buy.

Vendors ship new features constantly. Tell us what you are seeing, and we will re-verify the row — or book a session, and we will walk through the comparison live against your own requirements.

See it on your workflow, with your tools.
