Maggie Hodges' and my research is now public, where we surveyed a diverse sample of 903 @Google developers about their experiences with inclusion in software development.
- The Google Award for Inclusion Research (AIR) is now open! Applications close on July 13, 2023. AIR provides up to $60,000 in funding for research that addresses the needs of historically marginalized people and underserved communities.
- Geez, these #ICSE2023 papers that I'm reviewing look amazing. I should have declared a blanked conflict of interest, because I'm biased to accept every one of them! Thank you all for doing such interesting work.
- Shout out to @elldagan on #NationalInternDay! As a Research Scientist intern, she's interviewing demographically diverse engineering teams within @Google to understand what accounts for their success.
