Thousands of nursing, midwifery and allied health professional students will no longer have to pay travel and accommodation costs upfront when sent on training placements around the country. Eligible students can now claim advance payments, easing pressure on their budgets.

From today, @NHSEngland is inviting women who have fallen behind on their cervical screening to order a HPV self-testing kit. The free kits can be used at home, making it easier for more women to complete potentially lifesaving checks to help prevent cervical cancer.
