super smash bros melee is fully decompiled, this project started in july 2020, so it took over 6 years. the progress was hugely accelerated by llms and finished off with astra. it's a very large game with 3.88mb of compiled code. github.com/doldecomp/melee

This is a really good take in 2026. Tech (and culture in general) has never moved so fast. Have some core convictions - principles - you stand by. But be ready to pivot. Everything you swear you won’t do today might be something you have to do tomorrow

a good reminder that just because someone states their opinion with intense conviction, does not make it fact. they can come back a year later and state the absolute opposite view with the same conviction.

I think if and when @buildwithdjdev PRs the Apple Touch ID to @OmarchyMac its game over. @Tailscale + @TransitAI_ to secure the connection to a Jumpbox, authenticated by @1Password behind your biometrics, then to your routers, switches, firewalls, on @OmarchyLinux Thanks @dhh
