    A founder pitched me an AI voice agent for interview prep. The existing solution: a free website with 50 questions and a 10-second timer. One person built it. Works perfectly. Adding AI to a solved problem is not a startup. It's a science project.

    Founders: if your TAM isn't big enough to support a $1B+ outcome, don't pitch a VC. This isn't arrogance. It's math. VC funds need outlier returns. If your market caps out at $200M, you're looking for the wrong money. Know who you're pitching before you walk in.
