    RCT: Among preterm infants with PDA, expectant management vs pharmacologic closure showed no difference in the composite outcome of death or BPD at 36 weeks and a lower risk of mortality compared with pharmacologic treatment. ja.ma/45BeYnc
    JAMA study: Among preterm infants (22-28 weeks gestation) with patent ductus arteriosus, expectant management vs active treatment didn't significantly decrease death or bronchopulmonary dysplasia. 244 male/237 female infants, median age 25 weeks. Expectant-80.9%, Active-79.6%.
