I was floored when I heard that there are chemogenetics trials in humans. We're engineering neurons to have synthetic receptors that can be activated using normally inert drugs! How big of a deal is this? Can we cure epilepsy? PD? I did a deep dive into human chemogenetics

Great to see the Quantum Optical Neural Network finally realised. @Dirk_Englund @JonnyQlson @poyntingatgreg and myself came up with the QONN in 2019 and predicted it would be a few years until realised. Smart to use time bin encoding and squeezers — congrats @Ruqulab and team.
