I added a second render engine to guarantee "preview == export."
It became my single biggest source of divergence. Slower, and it silently shipped the wrong file.

Rebuilding my clip editor and.... today: reframe control.
The rendered clips came out in letterbox, but when I opened the edit page they started in full-frame. So I fixed the framing myself: 2 people → split-screen, a 4-person panel → grid 4, and so on.
