    Cox wins its Supreme Court case and Sony Music’s $1 billion dollar judgment for contributory infringement is vacated. Not enough to know some users will infringe if Cox provides them with broadband service

    You weren’t in the room when the reporters listened carefully to concerns expressed and vowed to take them into account. The ALI Council is not a rubber stamp. They insist on a fair deliberative process & they have cleared the copyright restatement drafted for membership review

    I haven’t been closely following the Restatement project for some time now, but the complaints about process have been consistent & uniform…and from people I trust. Putting this down as “sore losing” as opposed to resistance to policy preferences framed as law seems unfair.
