The most frustrating thing about the Jason Arday fiasco is that Cambridge professors had apparently known for a year that he was a fraud. That’s a shame. I'd have expected academics at that elite level to show a little more courage.

Nowadays, a well-written GitHub issue that explains the problem situation (preferably written by a human, not an AI) beats a PR created by an AI.
