SNAP is meant to feed families in need, not fraudsters. I just introduced the SNAP Fraud Accountability Act (H.R. 10219) to lower the threshold for criminal penalties for SNAP fraud from $5,000 to $1,000. Stealing from taxpayers has consequences. It’s that simple.
