Finally dropped the pressure independent TRV bodies for less restrictive regular type and converted BOE to TBOE, managed to drop heat curve from 0.75 to 0.65.
Old valves been on there 2+ years and spotless inside, happy at that. #roasting
My own system water test results nearly 3 & 1/2 years apart. Note: It has never been topped up or drained in that time.
Let it run a few weeks after flush in 2020 before taking samples.
For new (0-20 year) build houses with 10mm Pipe in the walls, customers want heat pumps, but go for boiler due to pipes in walls/upheaval. I reckoned if you further upsize rads another 15% you can run DT5 one side and DT10 other with similar eff. Whats your thoughts?
