Actually, I think the 15% tip is pretty reasonable Absent that, it creates a perverse incentive: - take ALL coins immediately; and immediately MIX them all - do NOT contact anyone, ever No gratitude at all, for the returned 3400 coins? That does seem to me to be pretty messed

The hacker returned the majority of funds, presumably because they know they won’t get away with a theft that large and/or they don’t consider themselves as a thief. But, by keeping the remainder they have got into a predicament. There are really three main paths forward 1.

So can we all agree now that maybe being able to apply some restrictions to your utxos - like where to or how much can be spent may have some usefulness?
