I want to now understand freertos. I got three m5stack sticks and I'm totally fascinated by this area. So many new things to learn. I of course can't just accept the Arduino IDE, I want to know how it all works.

I feel like microsoft dev tools need to start from the place that they are usable with a basic editor and cmd.exe. And then tooling can be added on top to make the experience even better, but the raw approach can't suck.

Microsoft is massive contributor to the Linux ecosystem and open source ecosystem as a whole. They are really one of the most pro-open source major companies right now. I put them on par with Red Hat/IBM and in many ways I appreciate their approach over the Red Hat model.

I'm so sick of not being able to buy quality products. Where clearly the company is focused on wall street and not the customer. We need a cultural movement of people creating products for people again.

I hope they don't botch this. Developers deserve first class devices and attention. There's windows Home and Professional, but professional is enterprise. We need windows developer edition on high end MacBook quality hardware.
