After spending hours trying to fix the laggy Radix scrollbar in one of my Next.js apps, even trying really hard with Fable 5.1, I finally thought, “Not worth it.” So switched to a native custom scrollbar instead. Definitely brought back some pre AI memories.

Understanding the React.js rendering process is so crucial. I learned recently how splitting states into separate components stops causing the whole components to re-render.

I am liking hourly rate work more nowadays. Especially when client increasing scopes and I don't have to worry about getting paid for the scopes.
