The map ends where we begin.

Fifteen years walking small groups into canyon, coast and high country — the demanding, unhurried, quietly unforgettable way.

// Field note 01

We don’t sell views. We sell the walk to get there.

Wildthread began with a frustration: the wild was being packaged into checklists. So we built the opposite — routes with room to breathe, capped at twelve travellers, scouted in person and led by guides who actually live in the terrain they walk. No megaphones, no rush, no bus.

01 / SCOUT

Walked first

We only run routes we’ve walked ourselves this season. If conditions shift, so does the plan.

02 / THREAD

Twelve, never more

Small enough to move quietly, adapt to weather, and know each other’s names by the first night.

03 / RETURN

Safety over summit

Every guide is wilderness-first-aid certified and carries a satellite communicator. We bring everyone home.

► The guides

Led by people who live out here.

No call centre, no rotating cast. When you book, one of three working guides is leading your trip — certified, local, and on first-name terms with the terrain in every mood.

// Logbook

“I’ve travelled a lot and paid more for less. Wildthread is the only trip where I came home feeling like I’d actually been somewhere — not just seen it through glass.”
