The SECURITY.md file is supported as a special community file in this repository.

One should be added to ensure every repository has one, and that the file is consistent across the majority of repositories under the organization's GitHub.

The github.com/WordPress/wordpress-develop/ repository may be an exception as that file details specific versions that still receive security backports.
