Accuracy and reliability update

  • Fix Idle detection: the timer now stops the moment you go idle - no more time counting up behind the idle screen.
  • Fix Negative timer displays (like "-5:-4") can no longer appear.
  • New Clock-drift protection: if your computer's clock is wrong, tracked time is held safely on your device and syncs automatically once the clock corrects itself.
  • New Mac: missing Screen Recording or Input Monitoring permissions now show a clear banner with a one-click jump to System Settings.
  • Improved Screenshots taken offline or during connection issues now deliver reliably and appear in their correct time slots.
  • Fix Creating a task on a slow connection no longer produces duplicates.
  • Fix Windows: clicking the app icon now always brings the window back from the tray.
  • Improved Sync status messages are clearer - you'll always know your time is safe and what (if anything) needs your attention.

Reliability update for Windows and Mac

  • Fix Windows: fixed a login error ("platform-specific components") on machines without the Microsoft VC++ runtime. TimoDesk now has no system prerequisites.
  • Fix Windows: the installed app is now digitally signed, resolving the Smart App Control publisher warning.
  • Fix Mac: the app now runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
  • New Release notes are now shown in the app when an update installs.
  • Improved Updates can now install from the login screen, so fixes reach you even before signing in.
