About the challenge

VentureFix is a 14-day hackathon where participants solve real business problems through technology or entrepreneurship.

Choose the Venture Build track to create a functional software product with clear business value. Choose the Venture Pitch track to develop a researched startup idea with a strong business model and realistic plan for growth.

Projects may focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, property technology, healthcare, education, automation, analytics, marketplaces, recruiting, or supply chains. Both tracks are judged equally based on the quality of the idea, practical value, execution, and potential impact.

Participants keep ownership of their work. Any third-party code, data, images, or other materials must be properly licensed and credited.

Get started

Register for VentureFix and select the track that best matches your skills and project idea. Identify a real problem, research the people or businesses affected by it, and spend the 14-day challenge developing your solution.

Venture Build participants should prepare a working product, a demonstration, and supporting project information. Venture Pitch participants should prepare a clear startup proposal and pitch deck supported by research.

Complete all required materials before the submission deadline. Projects will then be reviewed by judges using the criteria for the selected track.

Requirements

What to Build

Choose one of the two VentureFix tracks.

For Venture Build, create a functional software product that solves a real business problem. Your project should show clear user value, practical use, and commercial potential. Existing projects are allowed only when the submission includes substantial new work completed during the hackathon.

For Venture Pitch, develop a complete startup proposal based on a real problem. Your concept should include market research, a clear target audience, competitor analysis, a business model, a revenue plan, and a realistic approach to growth.

Each project may enter only one track. All third-party code, data, images, and other materials must be properly licensed and credited.

What to Submit

Venture Build submissions should include a project title, a clear description of the problem and solution, a working demo link, a source code repository, and a summary of the work completed during the hackathon.

Venture Pitch submissions should include a project title, a clear description of the problem and proposed solution, a pitch deck, a written business proposal, and supporting market research.

All submissions must be complete and submitted through Devpost before the deadline. Make sure every link and file is accessible to the judges.
