I have heard multiple cases of the safety unit preventing other parts of the commission from making mindnumingly stupid decisions on AI and technology! On this front alone, I would recommend applying!

It feels weird seeing oneself in a physical newspaper. Interviewed in @Kathimerini_gr (Greek paper of record) over the weekend. The headline reads "Europe enslaved to AI". Quite happy with how it reads.
