- We've grown super-sized Christmas trees to light up towns and cities across the UK. Like all our timber, these trees come from sustainably managed forests that have been independently certified and audited. Learn more: forestryandland.gov.scot/news-releases/…
- We recently hosted foresters from Land and Forest Iceland at Glen Nant and its oakwoods. By sharing our expertise, it's hoped we can help Iceland’s foresters in efforts to restore native woodland and create diverse forests for timber. Read more: forestryandland.gov.scot/news-releases/…
- Did you know that we work with communities looking at taking over land or buildings we manage if they feel they can be better used for local people? Our Community Asset Transfer Scheme or CATS is a way for them to bring ideas to us so we can work together to make it happen.
- We are hosting a careers day in Inveraray for female students from across Argyll to inspire more young women to get into forestry.
