Feels like yesterday! Looking back at Dove 2, @planet’s very first satellite launch – back in 2013!! Dove 1 launched 2 days later, so it was an exciting 48 hours! A fun trip down memory lane for anyone curious about the early days of Planet! 🛰️

Our first satellite, Dove 2, launched in 2013 and helped usher in a new era of Earth observation. After 13+ years in orbit, it safely reentered the atmosphere on July 1. Farewell, Dove 2 🤍
