    The mistake that I think many agent jockeys are making is that they are hoping to produce a sellable product. What I think they’re missing is that jockeying an agent means you almost never have to buy another product again. If you want it, just make it.

    one of the hardest things to get right when building agents is prompt caching. you can now see on the sidebar of 𝛕 tau: - cache hit on latest call - total cache on the full thread. but what is prompt caching anyways? πŸ‘‡

    will probably get stoned for this. but most code bases were horrible to work on, and carried ungodly amounts of technical debt anyways, even before ai. it’s just faster to get to that ungodly state now. but companies were never good at keeping clean code from the start.

    interesting how since agentic coding arrived some apps went from ok to AWESOME, releasing new features and iterating fast. and some others became unusable, buggy trash
