    Hot (summer) take: Europe should care, too, if we're ever going to compete. The only way to catch up in the age of AI is by a staunch commit to global, model agnostic open source collaboration, so that a breakthrough in Beirut is a breakthrough in Berlin.

    Love this post by @rwieruch about using libraries vs. building your own. It was always a trade-off, especially when it came to custom design, but agentic coding dramatically moved the crossover point toward the primitives:

    Every coding agent I use is brilliant and completely amnesiac. It writes code, I correct it, the PR merges, and that conversation is gone. Next session starts from zero.
