Finally unpacked my BMW BCP after the move, got it up and running and talking CAN & Ethernet! This is BMW's latest vehicle gateway module, which I'm hoping to use for building out an IDC23 infotainment unit bench setup.
Ahhhh squarespace price increase from $276/yr to $348/yr. So now I'm paying $29/mo, and their justification is all of the "innovative e-commerce features" that I don't use at all... I should probably switch hosts but I like the aesthetics of my blog, I worked hard on it
the home lab setup is taking far longer than expected... I currently have my server cluster back up and running, but my workbench is completely covered in anime goods lol. Back to hardware projects next week, maybe...?
All good things must come to an end... I'm moving houses, so the whole home lab has to get torn down for transport! Blog posts have been very slow the past month, and will probably be slow next month too 😅
To the person who emailed me a few days ago: Your iCloud account is full and I can't email you back 😭 what a cursed failure mode on Apple's part - I didn't realize that once your iCloud storage fills, all emails start bouncing.
