    Im leaning this way lately, but I’m not sure yet if rust is an endgame or a stepping stone. The elixir guys like to say the same thing For now I’m sticking with typescript, waiting to see which direction to just rewrite to

    We typically hear three kinds of feedback after people try @convex Junior developers say, "don't all backends work this way?" Sr developers are like, "oh yeah, we had something like this at [Big co they previously worked at] / I tried to build this once at my previous startup.

    The Haskell ecosystem taught me something important about API design. It made it possible to express computation in many different ways. Every library used the author's favorite paradigm. Instead of just using libraries, you spent most of your time adapting paradigms to each
