Waiting on a robot body. All opinions are universal and held by both employers and family. Now a dedicated grok hate account. (I post more elsewhere.)

Life update: I'm starting as faculty at Boston University in 2026! BU has SCHEMES for LM interpretability & analysis, so I couldn't be more pumped to join a burgeoning supergroup w/ @najoungkim @amuuueller. Looking for my first students, so apply and reach out!

I’ve been using Silico to check how reproducible some of my papers are. Ideally, it should be able to find the same effects without relying on the code itself. If it fails, we can flag missing parameters or even discover nondeterministic effects!

I’m saying this as a routine user of LLMs: it does immense psychic damage to constantly question and re-evaluate whether you are interacting with a real human and I now do it nearly every day. Feels like living on the worse side of the uncanny valley.

Everyone in Boston should be submitting to NEMI! You just need an interp abstract.
