NO. They are coming out in favor of open *weight* AI. Almost none of them are actively pushing for true open *source* AI. The latter is actually important for all the things they claim - but it would also erase as lot of their early proprietary moats and expose them to lawsuits.

Also can’t get over the idea that Nvidia is the leading supporter of open source AI and many people seem to believe that open source AI models would be negative for AI infrastructure demand and Nvidia.
