- Lots of chatter around cloture not being scheduled for the Clarity Act; my take: this is positive, and shows there is real bipartisan work actively happening behind the scenes. R could easily embarrass D by making them vote against a strong bill, but that wouldn’t help it pass
- doing some research, I just reserved my Cloudflare Wallet tag:
- The Clarity Act fills pre-existing regulatory gaps, and creates a framework for safely launching and operating crypto platforms. It also creates ethical guardrails that have never existed. A vote against Clarity is a vote to maintain the universally-reviled status quo
- The Clarity Act would protect Satoshi’s Bitcoins. Reason #47,329 to pass the Clarity Act.many have missed this great section added to CLARITY protection for self custody coins from being deemed “lost” under abandoned property laws due to onchain inactivity or dormancy, with federal preemption over state laws as well ‘noah doe’ wouldn’t like to see this 👀
